A True Picture

Like many moms, or women really, I think most of us work very hard to give the illusion that we are holding things together. But, when you get us talking, we quietly admit to each other that our toilets haven't been cleaned in three weeks, the laundry never makes it out of the basket, and our kids force us to chase them in parking lots -- but yet, we do our best not to post those pictures on Facebook. No one has their snotting, crying, temper-tantrum throwing child posted as their profile picture.

So, in an effort to be more honest and real...here is the real story behind some photos Tim tried to snap on Mother's Day.

Mom begging kids to put their arms around each other and look at the camera.

Older brother gearing up to hit younger brother as mom restrains and gives out stern warnings.

Getting closer...

The picture I will put in the album.

Here's to moms and our imperfect, yet blessed lives!

  1. Oh, so, so true. And so wonderful. You always have a way of capturing that "real life" side of things. I love it!
